This haul includes the the following items:

- 12 Single Eyeshadows (which I’m going to introduce a little later
How could I not stumble across Morphe Brushes? I mean, it’s everywhere on youtube, I believe every makeup and beauty guru ones at least one of their brushes. And I wanted to try them out for a while now, so I went to their website (morphebrushes.com) and I literally spent an entire evening, looking up their products and deciding what to get. First of all, I have to say, that they do have a amazingly insane range of eyeshadow palettes, which are so affordable! Their product range includes brushes, palettes, single eyeshadows, lashes, gel liner, powder, concealers, lip products, different storage items for your brushes and makeup. What they also do, is offering a space for some brands to sell their stuff there, including Jeffree Star Cosmetics, Koren Zander, Blinking Beaute, Eye Kandy Glitter and a couple more. So you get, why I spent an entire evening there. First I wanted to order one of their PRO Makeup Palettes – there are some with blushes, highliger, highlight and contouring and eyeshadows, again, each one of them is very affordable, but I wanted to pick up some eyeshadows I personally would love the most, So I customized one myself.
You can choose empty magnetic palettes in sizes from 4 to 28 places for eyeshadows. As you can see I went with 12. The palette I ordered has a nice feel to it. It’s all black, except for the logo on the lid. And it contains a humongous mirror in it. The price point on this one is 6,99 $ (6,63 €).
I picked up 12 shades, to fill this palette, which honestly was the hardest part of the whole process. Each eyeshadow comes in a little envelope with a window, where you can see the color of your eyeshadow. On the back you can see the ingredients, the name of the eyeshadow, and some informations about the amount of product it contains. Each eyeshadow is 1,5g/0.05 US OZ and retails for 2,29 $ (2,17 €). In the little eyeshadow-envelopes you can flip open a piece of carton, with a sunk in circle in wich the eyeshadow sits. After picking it up, you can simply put it in the eyeshadow palette, where it will sit due to physic… magnetism duh…
I put the eyeshadow in somewhat order like this:
Yeah, my yellow one broke, but that was my fault not Morphe’s. I am just clumsy… The shades names and each link to them will start from the first row, from left to right. Then the second row, and then the third. You know the drill. Behind the links I’m telling you if it’s a matt or a shimmery shade.
- ES40 Porcelain (Get Porcelain here) – matt
- ES103 Perfection (Get Perfection here) – shimmery
- ES33 Wink for Pink (Get Wink for Pink here) – shimmery
- ES106 Sweet Escape (Get Sweet Escape here) – shimmery
- ES29 Iced Princess (Get Iced Princess here) – shimmery
- ES96 Celebration (Get Celebration here) – matt
- ES32 Sunflower (Get Sunflower here) – matt
- ES21 Gum Drop (Get Gum Drop here) – matt
- ES42 Orchid (Get Orchid here) – matt
- ES35 Aquatic Earth (Get Aquatic Earth here) – matt
- ES44 I Got The Blues (Get I Got The Blues here) – matt
- ES78 Bronzed Ivy (Get Bronzed Ivy here) – shimmery
I personally think, that some of the colors on the website tend to look slightly different than the original eyeshadow, but I do not mind. I swatched them already and they are pigmented as far I can tell.
To make my order complete I wanted to try out some of their brushes everyone and their mama is talking about. First I thought about getting single brushes, but than I decided to get a whole set. Again, they come in very affordable, much more affordable than my Zoeva Brushes and I have to admit, they seem to be a better quality than the ones from Zoeva. I picked an 18 piece brush set which includes the following items:
1.Pointed Liner Brush Bristles ¼” Full Length 6 ¼”
2.Lip Brush Bristles ¼” Full Length 6 3/8”
3.Smudger Brush Bristles 1/8” Full Length 6 ¼”
4.Angle Liner Brush Bristles ¼” Full Length 6 1/8”
5 Flat Liner Brush Bristles ¼” Full Length 6 3/8”
6.Mini Concealer Bristles 1/4″ Full Length 6 3/8”
7.Small Shadow Brush Bristles 3/8” Full Length 6 5/8”
8.Concealer Brush Bristles ½” Full Length 6 3/8”
9.Deluxe Blending Crease Bristles 5/8” Full Length 7”
10.Oval Shadow Brush Bristles 3/8” Full Length 6 ¾”
11.Deluxe shadow Brush Bristles ½” Full Length 7”
12.Angled Blender Brush Bristles 5/8” Full Length 7”
13.Pointed Foundation Brush Bristles 1 1/8” Full Length 7 1/8”
14.Contour Brush Bristles 1” Full Length 7”
15.Bronzer Brush Bristles 1 ½” Full Length 7 ½”
16.Angle Blush Brush Bristles 1 5/8” Full Length 7 ½”
17.Powder Brush Bristles 1 ½” Full Length 7 ½”
18.Deluxe Fan Brush Bristles 2 1/8” Full Length 7 ½”
The set comes in a handy dandy black case, which looks like a cute clutch. I’m not using this case to store my brushes, because I like to display them in a brush cup – but it’s a cute way to pack up your brushes while traveling. The bristles of the brushes feel so luxurious and soft, none of the bristles is pointing in a weird direction. The handle is all black, except of the Morphe logo and they are thick, lying good in my hand, which seems to make it easier working with them.
Keep in mind, if you’re living anywhere outside from the U.S. you have to pay some extra shipping and I had to pay customs duty on my purchase as well. The order took about 13 days to arrive, but then again, there were weekends in between, and I had to pick up my order at the customs house.
Would I do it again? Most definitely yes. And I can’t wait to try my products out. I’ll keep you updated on their performance 😉
Ugh I want their brushes so bad!!
